Lesley Mays is a home away from home, offering sewing classes, shopping and fellowship in a beautiful and relaxed environment.
The family owned and operated store was opened in 2010 by experienced sewer Mandy Gowers. Named after Mandy’s late mother, the shop is set in a charming period home in the heart of Mildura.
Our team of friendly and knowledgeable staff can help with product advice and inspiration for all your projects. We love sharing our craft and pride ourselves on educating and nurturing sewers of all skills.
Our regular classes and workshops, run by experienced tutors, provide enthusiastic students with a platform to grow and appreciate all this craft has to offer.
You will have a great experience every time you come into the store. With thousands of bolts of fabrics, all of the best brands in sewing machines and accessories, haberdashery supplies, quilt backings and gift lines, we are confident we have everything you need.
Sewing Machines – We are the largest stockists of Sewing Machines in North West Victoria and we ensure our staff and clients have a great understanding of the machines.All of our staff are experienced sewers and understand the capabilities of our machines and the applications of the products that we offer.
Workshops – We are a destination for visiting tutors from both Australia and overseas. Some of our tutors are world renowned and come from New Zealand, Africa and America to share their knowledge and technique with our students. You can find more information on our workshops page.
Quilting – Our on site quilting machine is available for hire, we are one of the only locations in Australia where you can come to our shop and machine quilt your project on site. Call us direct to enquire about this service.
